In 2015 in Albemarle North Carolina I met the author of the book I am about to share with you. Me and Apostle Ingram had been Facebook friends for a few years and I looked forward to traveling the two hours from my current home then in Danville Va to see her in person. The wisdom and spiritual authority that she conveyed through her Facebook posts had affected me in a very significant way and I knew that the journey would be well worth it. I was not disappointed.
That weekend I received Apostle Ingram’s book Without Apology and anxiously read it a few days later. I love reading biographies and memoirs, written accounts of people lives who have made a mark in the lives of others. Without Apology on Call for God is such a book.
Last month I pulled Without Apology out of my library to read it a second time. This time I read it with a different purpose. The first time I read it I was a curious observer in the life and ministry of Apostle Ingram. I wanted to experience the experiences that she had over almost forty years in ministry. But this time I read it as a textbook and a guide into an unfamiliar path of going like Abraham and Apostle Ingram, not knowing where you are going as the writer of Hebrews 11 so powerfully penned those words.
In Without Apology Apostle Marion Ingram shares the dramatic time when her pastor the late Apostle G.E. Patterson of Memphis Tennessee sent her out by the leading of Holy Spirit. She left home and family to sojourn to Washington D.C. where she received an assignment to shut down a occult and bring the people from under the demonic tyrannical authority of a messenger of Satan.
This would be a pattern as Apostle Marion Ingram engaged with principalities of hell and territorials rulers of darkness in rescuing many precious souls from hell’s captivity.
Without apology on call for God reveals also the creative gifts of Apostle Ingram. As a creative artist and prophetic poet several of her creations appear in her book. One of them is called NO.
I cannot come today.
I will no longer do it your way.
To myself I will be true
Instead of always convincing you.
This vicous path has no end
In fact it doens’t even bend
Our old habits can’t transcend the future
Because the respect is simply not mutual
We all have a place in Father’s plan
If for right we’ll take a stand
You can’t have my strength and yours too
Because without focus I’ll miss my cue.
