Why is it so hard to be creative? I meet and talk with so many persons who wants to tap into their creative gifts and creative identity. But they struggle to do so. And there are a lot of reasons but I want to give one reason today why is it so hard to be creative.
Their is an anointing that we must tap into to breakthrough into creativity. It’s called the ox anointing. One of the Hebrew letter that reveals creativity is the letter Aleph. This letter is the picture of an ox. Because it is the first letter it represents the Father. The Father is introduced in Genesis 1 as the Creator. When He created man He created them to be His image which is creative.
The ox is a worker, a creator and a producer. It plows fallow ground, preparing the ground for sowing and reaping. The ox focus is on the ground he is plowing. His work is monotonous, sometime boring but the ox keeps moving.
Many creators, many creatives don’t operate with this anointing. They are not focused. They lose focus they get bored or distracted. They need the ox anointing to push through.
What is the ox anointing? It’s the anointing of partnership. When two oxen are joined together to break up new ground they are joined by a yoke. The yoke keeps them moving and working together. Many of us are trying to create alone and we cannot. We need the yoke of the Father to infuse us with His grace and power.
This is the yoke that Jesus offers us in Matthew 11:28-30. Accept His yoke and create with Him.
The oxen can create more than any other animal because of its strength. It will continue to move and work until the harvest comes. The ox was born to bring forth many harvest.
You need to be strong as an ox and connect to the Father who is the Ox to bring forth creativity.
Get connected! Get moving! You will create a harvest.
