|A few days ago I received an encouraging email from one of my followers on Facebook. She commended me for my posts and blogs. She said that I was an inspiration because I was consistent even though there wasn’t a lot of activity on my posts such as people liking my comments or commenting or sharing what I was posting.
She said that Holy Spirit brought me to her mind one day and said to her that I was a model of consistency and belief because what I was doing was not based on how others responded.
She closed her email with a thank you from one who is looking.
I was so blessed to read her words and I replied “Prosperity comes to those who pursue the process because they have a passion for what they do. I keep my eye on the vision and that causes me to prosper and the blessings of the Lord overtakes me.” (See Deut 28:2).
After writing my reply I started to think about prosperity and what I had learned about its meaning. And sol today I want to encourage you to prosper.
How do you define prosperity? For some prosperity is the end or the attainment of a thing; getting the new car or the larger house. Getting the promotion or the new job. This type of prosperity focuses on the end.
But for me, based on my biblical worldview prosperity is the pursuit. It’s the journey that moves me toward the destination. Prosperity is the path that leads to the place. Prosperity is the pursuit of life..
So I believe that you are prospering everyday because you are getting up and you are making progress to your goals. Of course you want to accomplish your goals but don’t ignore the process that’s going to get you there. The process is as important as the accomplishment.
As you run toward your success the race is what’s going to get you to your victory. You are winning because you are running.
So make this formula your formula for prosperity.
PASSION + PURSUIT + PROCESS = PROSPERITY.
Activate this formula in your life by determining the following goals.
1. What are you passionate about? What do you love doing that you would do if no one paid you to do it and no one ever acknowledged you doing it?
2. What are you daily pursuing? What are you going after with all of your energy?
3. Are you committed to the process? Have you determined to do it until you complete it no matter how hard it will get?
Then you will prosper everyday and one day you will enter your destination.
I have a few books on my website that can help you develop a mindset for prosperity. I’m recommending two to you today.
1. Divine Favor: God Acts for you when your enemies Act against you.
2. 21 Days of Journaling: You Have Three Days to Live.
Let me know how you are prospering and how can I help you.
