On Monday night it is my privilege to lead a group of Scribes (Authors, Writers, Publishers, Poets, etc) in Impartation and Intercession. Since W.O.W. started this weekly Call on Monday October 1, 2012 it never ceases to amaze me how Holy Spirit shows up to move in our midst. Last night was such a night. I imparted a teaching from the title, “How to Hear God in the midst of Your Writing.” After the teaching was concluded I took a few questions and then we prepared to stand in intercession. One of the Scribes on the Call prophesied that someone needed to be deliver on this call. And then another Scribe agreed that the word was for her and we entered prayer, led by Chantay, a dear sister in the Lord and fellow member of Voices of Christ International Literary Ministries. When Chantay was completed praying I interceded for my dear sister and release the declarations and decrees that Holy Spirit was calling forth from my mouth.
When I was completed praying another dear sister who is a member of Voices of Christ and Watchman on Walls began to declare the vision that she was seeing in the midst of the intercession. And the floodgates opened. Prophetic words began to pour out of the Scribes and each one was building on the word that it followed. Never in my life had I seen such a release of prophetic utterances as I witnessed on this Call. Each word agreed with the word that it followed. I led the group to cry out in their faith the Word that stasrted the prophetic downpour. Truly Holy Spirit moved in our midst and I am a thankful witness to what God is doing in Watchman On Walls International Fellowship.
With that spirit of faith and expectation from Monday night I carried it to my morning and evening Bible study groups in New Mine Creek. Since September I have been conducting a School of the Holy Spirit and we have been following His leading as He has been directing the lessons to impart in this congregation that I have had the privilege of leading and serving for ten years. Today’s lesson was on prophesying. After last night sessions I was curious as to what Holy Spirit would do this morning and this evening and He rewarded my expectation.
After I was done teaching I led the group in an exercise that would release prophesying from them and one of the brothers in the assembly prophesied to me, and to one of the church leaders and the entire church. I’ve already recognized that this brother walks with a Barnabas anointing and his prophetic words, the first time one has ever been spoken by one in the congregation to my knowledge, was a source of great joy.
During the evening session it was my son Quincy, who is off to college in a month and a week, who prophesied to me and his prophetic release stirred two others to prophesy to me as well.
All I can say is WOW Holy Spirit. Keep on having Your way.
