Today I want to share with you attitude #2 DESIRE. Yesterday I wrote that an attitude is emotion that directs us to motion. Your attitude moves you toward a thing. It moves you toward the negative or the positive.
Desire is a very important attitude in helping you to succeed. Napoleon Hill said, “The starting point of all achievement is desire.”
Desire brings you into agreement with the thing that you want to accomplish. Desire creates your reality. It is the bridge between your right now and your future.
Desire keeps you focused in your current assignment. It empowers you to push forward until you have gained your accomplishment.
Desire causes you to reach fullness and significance when you’re in a hard season.
Desire speaks to you about the dreams hidden in your heart and tells you to believe in the impossible.
What do you desire? What’s in your heart? What do you want to do? What do you want to make happen? When you have to wait for it to happen or for it to come to fruition desire gives you strength to continue and not give up.
Many of us are waiting for permission to pursue life and life keeps saying no. The no may come through a counselor, an adviser, a family member, a person who has influence in your life, but you’ve got to listen to the YES in your life. Desire says yes .
Proverbs 11:23 says, “The desire of the righteous is only good.” Your desire is good. It is beneficial for you. It causes you to do excellent things in your life. It brings prosperity in your life. Your desire make you a great person. It makes your days happy. It makes you happy.
Let desire be your attitude today. Desire more, desire significance, desire creativity. You’ll never reach the end until you begin, desire is where you begin.
Let this word for today empower you to live a creative life.
