Shalom. We have reached the end of another season. Today is the last day of April and the last day of Nisan. Nisan is the month of Passover. Nisan is the beginning of months that God set for the children of Israel. One of the most exciting developments of this time is the restoration of God’s time in through the Hebraic months. Although the calendar of our society is the Gregorian calendar many in the body of Christ are gaining an understanding of God’s calendar which He gave to the children of Israel. In Exodus 12:2 God said to Moses, “This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you.” From the beginning of time to now God has had a calendar for us to live by. I have learned from Apostle Chuck Pierce that when we live according to this calendar we will prosper because we are living in the time of God. So each month I seek the prophetic meaning of each month and order my days according to what the Lord is saying in that month. The month of Nisan is the month of harvest and the month of Passover. Many of us have encountered death operating in our lives but by the blood of Jesus we have overcome and have passed over death and the fear of death . This has been a month of beginnings. It has been a month of coming out (Exodus) and passing over. We are a people passing over.
Each month is associated with a tribe. The tribe for this month is Judah. Judah is the first tribe. It is the apostolic governing tribe. It is the warfare tribe. Judah always leads the other tribes into battle (Judges 1:1-4). The name Judah means praise but praise is more than singing, it is declaring the will of God. In Numbers 13 Caleb of the tribe of Judah stood before Israel and declared that it was time to go and possess the land that God was giving to them. Caleb had authority to make that declaration because he was the leader of the Judah tribe. He had the anointing of government on him that was on the tribe of Judah. When the people failed to hear the word of the apostle fear over took them and they remained in the wilderness. This month you have heard God through the apostolic tribe and that has activated your faith to rise up and pass over into your inheritance. An apostolic people is a people passing over because they hear the voice of Judah.
Tomorrow we enter the month of Iyyar. Iyyar is a month of passage. We are leaving the month of Nisan, the month of redemption. The month after Iyyar is Shavan which is the month of Pentecost where Holy Spirit was poured out on the ecclesia. In the month of May/Iyyar let your hope and expectation rise as you prophesy and dream dreams and see visions. The first letter in Iyyar is Aleph which means father, strength. This month follow the Father on the path that is taking you through this month of passage. Each day as you follow your heavenly Father He will impart strength for your journey.
Iyyar is the month when God started to rain down manna in the wilderness. In this month for many of us who are traveling through the wilderness God is going to give you manna for your time in the wilderness. Declare that man does not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God (Exodus 16: 4; Deu 8:3). in this month you are called to learn how to live by the Word of God.
There are two yods in Iyyar. Yod is the smallest letter in the hebrew alphabet, it means to work. This month you are called to double work for which you will receive double payment. It is the month to increase what you are doing to receive double fruit. Jesus said in John 9:4, “I must work the works of Him that sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.” As you follow the Father He will send you to do the work that He has given you to do. The double will not be more labor and more struggling for you but it is will be in agreement with what You see the Father doing. It will be you and the Father working together. When you work with the Father you will do more and receive more because you are yoked to Him.
The last letter in Iyyar is resh which means going to the top. As you follow the Father and do the work that He is sending you to do will go to the top. You will receive promotion. The Father leads us to the mountain. Isaiah 2:2-3, “Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the Lord’s House shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. Many people shall come and say, Come and let us go up to the mountian of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths. For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.”
This month Father is taking us to the mountain to dwell in His house and there He will teach us how to live like Him and walk in th paths that leads us to prosperity.
The tribe associated with Iyyar is the tribe of Issachar. The tribe of Issachar is known as a the prophetic tribe who understood the times and knew what to do (1 Chron 12:32). Apostle Chuck Pierce says in his book INTERPRETING THE TIMES, “They knew how certain structures had to end so that new seasons would begin.” As you make your passage through Iyyar your Father has given you the Issachar anointing and you will know what needs to end so that the new can begin. embrace the prophetic nature of this month. Through Holy Spirit who lives in you are one of the sons of Issachar.
I pray that your journey in this month will cause you to prosper.
