Last week I shared with you a dream that I had two weekends ago. Holy Spirit gave me the interpretation to that dream and I shared it with you. Today I am sharing another dream that I had last weekend, exactly eight days after the first dream. Both dreams are linked and they both reveal the schemes of the enemy in this season.
2 Samuel 11;1 says that the spring is the time of year when kings go to war. We are in the season of spring and God is calling His kings to battle. Who is a king? You are. Revelation 1:6 says that Jesus has made you a king and a priest. This dream is going to reveal to you how you are called to war and how to win.
In this dream I saw a man standing in front of a window. He was watching rain gather in a container. He meditated at the window gazing at the rain. He turned from the window and started to walk through the room. A demon came from behind him and starting to hold his arms in a tight grip. The man tried to break free but he couldn’t. He was straining to get free but he couldn’t. When finally he realized that he couldn’t wrestle out of the hold that the demon had on him a light came on in his mind. A revelation came forth.
The man opened his mouth and said very loudly, “IN THE NAME OF JESUS!”. The demon disappeared. The man was free.
Many in the body of Christ are standing at the window. This the Hebrew year 5775, the year of Ayin hey. This is the year of seeing through the window. The people of God are gaining prophetic sight. They are seeing in the realm of the spirit. They are beholding the great and wonderful things that God is showing them.
They are looking out of the window at the rain. Rain represents the times of refreshing that is coming to the Body of Christ (Acts 3:19). 2014 was a hard year for many but this year 2015 God is bringing refreshing to His people.
The man started to walk after he looked out of the window and saw the rain. And the demon attacked him from behind and held on to his arms. The Lord showed me that this was demon was the spirit of the Amalekites. The Amalekites attacked Israel from behind when they were tired and weary (Deut 25:17-19).
This is how the enemy is attacking believers in this hour. You are gaining revelation and vision. You have received the promise of the times of refreshing and you are walking in your heart believing the promise. You are recovering from the weariness of past seasons but you are still vulnerable. And that’s when the enemy attacks. He is a spirit of the Amalekites. He hits you while you are still recovering from past seasons. He’s holding your arms from behind. Your arms represent strength (Gen 49:24). As long as the enemy can hold your arms he holds your strength.
When revelation came to the man he declared the name of Jesus and he was immediately set free.
Watch your back as you recover. The Amalekites are among us.
